At a special meeting on February 20, the Town Council voted to retain the firm of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney and its subcontractors Alexander & Cleaver and Chambers, Conlon & Hartwell to provide legal and government relations services to the Town of Chevy Chase to assist the Town in continuing to address the proposed Purple Line project. The Council authorized the expenditure of $29,000 per month for the services, up to a maximum of $350,000.
