Winter Storm Update 2/12

Street Snow/Ice Removal
The Town’s maintenance crew and contractor are clearing the roads. Plows operate continuously until the streets are clear.

Parking in Snow or Icy Conditions
Please park cars either in driveways or on the even-numbered side of the street to ensure safe passage for the snow removal crews. Please do not park cars on the odd-numbered side of the street, unless otherwise posted.  The Town's plow drivers report some difficulty navigating past some cars that are improperly parked.

Sidewalk Snow Removal
Because snow accumulations exceed 6 inches, the Town's contractor will be mobilized to shovel public sidewalks. Residents are asked to assist by shoveling sidewalks adjacent to their homes if they are able, in order to make the sidewalks passable for everyone as soon as possible.  

Please note that homeowners are always responsible for clearing snow and ice from private walkways and driveways. For assistance, the Town website lists several companies that offer snow removal services.

By taking these steps, residents help maintain safety and accessibility for all. Thank you for doing your part.

Town Office Closed
The Town Office will be closed today.  Staff will be working remotely to answer emails and phone calls.

Council Meeting - Virtual Only
Tonight's Town Council meeting will be held by Zoom only.  The Town Hall will not be open.
