Purple Line Mitigation Advisory Group

 

The Purple Line Mitigation Advisory Group will represent the Town during the State’s preliminary engineering phase for the Purple Line light rail project.  The Advisory Group will concern itself both with potential impacts of the project on Town residential properties adjacent to the right-of-way and with the overall safety and recreational experience of the Capital Crescent Trail.  As part of its work, the group will gather the concerns of Town residents about potential construction and operational impacts and relay those concerns and consensus mitigation recommendations to the Maryland Transit Administration.
