AGREEMENT AND RELEASE
The Town of Chevy Chase conducts a “Consulting Arborist” Program pursuant to which the Town authorizes the Town’s contractor, Feather & Associates, to consult with residents and their arborists regarding the health and physical condition of trees within the Town boundaries.  This service is provided at no cost to residents.  However, in making the Town’s contractor available to residents and paying for the contractor’s services, the Town does not guarantee or accept responsibility for any representations, advice or other information or opinions provided by Feather & Associates.  Residents are encouraged to consult with privately retained arborists if they have any questions or doubts regarding information or advice provided by the Town’s contractor.

In consideration for making the Consulting Arborist Program available to me, I agree that I have read this document in its entirety, understand and agree that the Town will not be responsible for the advice of the consulting arborist, and agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless the Town and all of its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from all suits, actions, damages and costs which may result from the information or advice provided to the resident or the resident’s agents by the consulting arborist.
