January 30 Public Forum on Corso Chevy Chase Final Rezoning Application

On January 30 at 7 p.m. by Zoom videoconference, the Town will host a public forum to hear from residents about the final rezoning plan for 7100 Connecticut Avenue and the binding elements related to this plan. All of the documents associated with the final rezoning application are available here.

As announced by Town Crier last week, the developers have responded to the Town's request to, among other things, reduce the height of the buildings around the three sides of the property adjacent to Town residences. The outward facing portions of these buildings have been reduced from 5 to 4 stories, while the outward facing portion of the building in the northwest corner has been reduced from 4 to 3 stories.

We look forward to receiving resident comments before we prepare the Town's testimony for the public hearings to be held by the Planning Board and the County Hearing Examiner in February.
