The Community Relations Committee has invited Gerard Barber, Assessor Manager of the State of Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation, to speak to residents about the property assessment process. Mr. Barber will speak briefly about the policies and procedures of the department, the assessment process, the available tax credits and the appeal process. He will answer general questions, but will not answer questions about specific addresses.
